"I think it’s very hard to truly describe good audio.. It’s definitely (for me at least) something you have to experience and is also something that’s really personal for everyone - we all like different music after all.
I was given the opportunity to experience the new Radius Series 4G speakers in my home. Coming from quite a heavy visually focussed background as a photographer and somewhat home / lifestyle content creator. The aesthetics are just as important as the sound for me; the flow and feel of my home is super important particularly for a relaxing environment to wind down after a heavy shoot day.
Paired up with the floor stands, the speakers present a clean monochromatic look and with the tweeters and driver caged rather than covered I feel brings a much more refined technical element to the whole look, similar to what I tend to look for within my own wardrobe.
In terms of the sound quality you really have to experience these for yourself. But I’ll do my best to describe my experience…
Really, really impressive. For the size of them and output, I was honestly blown away. After the first few listenings, I instantly noticed super crisp and defined separation between the highs, mids and lows - and considering I don’t have a sub attached, the lows were rich and full. To be honest, I’m questioning why I hadn’t made the move to upgrade sooner.
My own personal music taste is super varied and fully mood based. These speakers have played everything through from jazz, ambient, metal, electronic to drum and bass and I’ve barely had them a month yet.
All in all, I’d highly recommend, even if you just get a chance to sit down and listen for 20 minutes somewhere. Do it and you’ll see what I mean."
