Does my IMS-4 Music Streamer need to be connected to the internet to work?

No, your IMS-4 streamer can still distribute music using offline media from a USB device, physical media player (like a CD player), local media server or NAS drive.

However, you’ll still need to connect IMS-4 to a local network in order to control the streamer, using the BluOS Controller App.

If you want to enjoy media from an online streaming service and important product updates, you’ll need to connect IMS-4 to an active internet connection.
