Monitor Audio shines a spotlight on specialist Hi-Fi and home cinema retailer Sevenoaks Sound & Vision, focusing on their immersive new Cinergy demonstration suite at their Witham facility.
About Sevenoaks Sound and Vision
One of the largest independent Hi-Fi and Home Cinema retailers in the UK, Sevenoaks Sound and Vision was established in 1972. Their custom installation service specialises in the creation and installation of bespoke home entertainment systems to suit all budgets.
Located in the East of England, Witham's Sevenoaks Sound and Vision store had a grand reopening in September 2023, taking on a complete redesign, featuring a stunning new shop floor area and a larger state of the art cinema and Hi-Fi listening demonstration room. They offer a wide range of speakers and electronics, such as our Silver 50, 100 and 200 models from our Silver Series 7G, as well as Roksan’s award-winning Attessa Streamer. One of 24 stores across the UK, the newly refurbished Witham store now has a purpose-built home cinema demonstration room, featuring our THX® Certified Ultra Cinergy speakers.

We sat down with Assistant Manager Mark Succamore as well as Brand and Product Manager Simon Bicknell to discuss the customer reaction to the new Cinergy demo space and what makes it so special.
The 7.4.4 AV system comprises: Cinergy 300 speakers for left, centre, right channels; Cinergy 200 for the two side channels; Cinergy 100 for the two rear channels; four in-wall Cinergy Sub15s; and Creator Series C3L-A in-ceiling Atmos speakers. There’s a Macintosh MHT300 amplifier, plus an IA750-4 Monitor Audio high-power second generation amplifier for the Cinergy subs, a NAD CI-8-120 amplifier for the Atmos speakers and an Apple TV box for hi-res streaming. Visuals are provided by a Sony 5000ES Projector and a Panasonic DP-UB9000 4K UHD Blu-ray Player.
