The Bronze series was positioned for the entry level market – this was a first for Monitor Audio.

The range included two bookshelf/standmount speakers – Bronze 1 and 2 –a floorstanding speaker – Bronze 3 – and a centre channel. This range utilised Metal Matrix Polymer bass-mid drivers and Gold Dome tweeters. Th Bronze 1 was a compact bookshelf speaker that, despite it’s size, produced a large soundstage and crisp timing. The Bronze 2 was slightly taller than the Bronze 1 and was able to deliver fuller bass and greater dynamic impact. The Bronze 3, with it’s larger size was able to provide enhanced dynamics and could be mass loaded with sand or lead shot for added bass performance and greater stability.
