Following on from the original Bronze range in the early 2000s, Monitor Audio release the Bronze R Series.
The Bronze series was re-tuned equipped to compete with more expensive offerings from rival brands. Bronze Reference saw new C-CAM tweeters, the second generation of MMP mid-range and bass drivers as well as new crossovers and finishes. The floorstanders had an improved cabinet and terminal panel design. The range consisted of 7 models – BR1, BR2, BR5, BR6, BRFX, BRLCR, BRW10. This series offered 2 system packages – the BR2AV and BR5AV.
