We are pleased to announce that the newly launched TIDAL Connect casting technology is now available on our IMS-4 Music Streamer
Being the first HiFi tier casting technology, TIDAL Connect will allow users to cast their TIDAL HiFi music collections directly to our IMS-4 Music Streamer or other BluOS enabled streamers and speakers from the TIDAL app including MQA encoded tracks.
Both TIDAL Premium and HiFi subscribers will be able to enjoy the new feature that is available in the “Now Playing” screen. Users simply tap the device selector at the bottom left of the screen and select their IMS-4 Music Streamer or other TIDAL Connect enabled device.
The existing BluOS Controller App will still be required for advanced controls like player grouping and listening preferences with the IMS-4 and other BluOS enabled devices. TIDAL will also continue to function as before inside the BluOS Controller App.
To access TIDAL Connect, you'll need to update to the latest BluOS firmware, the new update is available to download using the BluOS Controller App.
