Nominated for: Best Pop/R&B Act

Crash - Charli XCX is ambitious on her fifth studio album, as the British artist moves away from the mainstream for a slightly different sound that we’ve been used to. On the theme of sexuality, and with influence from Madonna and Lady Gaga, Crash is audacious and a high octane ride.

Kendrick Lamar

Nominated for: International Artist of the Year

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers - After a five year hiatus, the much anticipated fifth studio album from the Compton rapper has arrived. Kendrick wrangles with his own demons on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. For 75 mins, it’s relentless, frantic but with the shackles now seemingly off, who knows what’s in store for the future.

Nominated for: International Group of the Year

Palomino - Swedish folk rockers Johanna and Klara Söderberg return for their fourth studio album. Recorded in their native Stockholm, with a more mature sound, the folk duo are noticeably more happy and assured on Palomino. Each song inspires happiness, optimism and hope, with their uplifting lyrics and divine melodies. The talented sisters have grown their sound, taking a real step forward in their evolution.

Sam Ryder

Nominated for: Best New Artist

There’s Nothing but Space, Man! - Fresh from Eurovision, British singer Sam Ryder releases his debut album, There's Nothing but Space, Man!. Alongside the song which earned him an incredible second place finish, there are plenty of pop-rock ballads, which are both catchy and very memorable. With influences ranging from Elton John to Iron Maiden, Ryder's soaring voice contains a bit of everything. A really promising start to his career and an artist we should be sure to pay attention to.
