"Sleek, small and hugely talented"

Small, compact, and visually unique, the all-new Studio 89 is an uncompromising little speaker and thoroughly impressed the team at What Hi-Fi? - earning a stunning 5-star review!

"It comes as no surprise that the Studio 89 are beautifully made and finished"

Regarding its design and engineering, they said the new third-generation MPD (Micro Pleated Diaphragm) tweeter is a "technical highlight", adding that "the speaker’s twin mid/bass drivers are equally impressive."

On the build & compatibility, WHF were clearly impressed with the attention to detail, and when discussing the gloss black cabinet finish, they stated "we think it looks suitably classy compared to the competition."

Deliberating on the Studio 89's sound, WHF said "their presentation is impeccably clean and precise without sounding overly analytical." and when asked how they would describe the Studio 89’s sound in three words, it would be "detailed, agile and polished".

Using a wide range of music from the hip-hop of Wyclef Jean to Nick Cave’s The Boatman’s Call and the Broadchurch OST from Ólafur Arnalds, WHF say the Studio 89's "impress with their well-balanced tonality and pin-sharp stereo imaging."

In conclusion, the Studio 89's are "talented and engaging performers that excel in clarity, precision and resolution".
