The Muppets Christmas Carol

Music by Miles Goodman | Walt Disney Productions

Out of all of the adaptations of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” strangely The Muppets version is one of the best versions there are for the classic tale.

In true Muppet style, the film is essentially a musical comedy. If you can excuse Michael Cane’s singing voice, from the opening song “Scrooge” the magical soundtrack transports you into the story with heartwarming tracks.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Music by Danny Elfman | Walt Disney Productions

Toeing the line between Halloween and Christmas, Danny Elfman succeeds to bring the joy of Christmas with the creepiness of Halloween into the film’s soundtrack.

Ignoring the Halloween based opening, the Christmas elements break through with “What’s This?” as protagonist Jack explores Christmas Land.
