On their stylish debut album, London-based duo Jockstrap dazzle on one of the most creative albums released this year. Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye present I Love You Jennifer B, a disorienting collection of tracks three years in the making. Unpredictable and exhilarating throughout, this original British experimental pop band are here to stay.

Afghan Whigs | Royal Cream
The Afhgan Whigs shine on their latest record, How Do You Burn?. After reforming in the early 2000s, the Cincinnati band have impressively evolved their sound, with lead man Greg Dulli incorporating more R&B and soul influences into their music. Their thrilling and enigmatic ninth studio album is hypnotic, dark and has tonnes of swagger.

Sudan Archives | Stones Throw Records
Following her 2019 debut Athena, Ohio native Brittney Parks returns for her second studio album, taking inspiration from a variety of African musicians. On Natural Brown Prom Queen, the talented multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter is mesmerising, offering a chaotic mix of beats, with intelligent storytelling that only elevates her further.

Alex G | Domino Recording Co
With hopeful poignancy, Indie rocker Alex G releases God Save The Animals, his ninth studio album.
